How to get from Verona Airport to the city center

The airport in Verona (Aeroporto Valerio Catullo) is located 10 km from the city center, and is named after one of the most famous poets of ancient Rome, Gaia Valeriu Catulla. The second name of the airport is Villafranca.

Aeroflot and S7 airlines operate daily direct flights to Moscow from Verona.

By bus

From the airport to the Verona Central Station (Verona Porta Nuova), a special N199 bus runs every 20 minutes. Tickets cost 6 euros, travel time 15 minutes. Please note that the central train station in Verona is 2 kilometers from the historic center. Perhaps in order to get to the hotel faster, you should consider the option of a taxi.

The distance from the train station to the Arena di Verona and the historical center is about 2 km. You can walk for 30 minutes, which is not convenient with suitcases, or take city buses N 11, 12, 13, 51, 52. The fare is 1.3 euros, the ticket is bought in a vending machine at the bus stop and composted at the entrance to the bus.
